Anyhow, went to open my recipe to see what my dry-hop weights were, and BeerSmith told me that my free trial was over and that the program was closing. I purchased it in June, 2011 and have been using it ever since. So I recovered my activation key via email, re-activated the account, and opened it up. ALL of my recipes, profiles (which had lovingly been zeroed in for volumes, temps, deadspace loss, etc. Over the course of over a year), and notes are now gone. Reset trial EDIUS8.2 is a program by reset trial EDIUS8.2. Sometimes, people want to uninstall this application. This is difficult because deleting this by hand requires some know-how regarding PCs. The trial version of BeerSmith may be distributed freely on a non-profit basis as long as it is maintained as a complete package and no attempts are made to circumvent the trial period or any trial feature limitations. It takes less than 1 minute to input the data I have for the ingredient. For roughly $20 bucks, I'm not expecting it to build a shuttle to space. It's helping me calculate less shit on a day when I drink too much and play with grain and hot water. For more money, I'd expect it to be up to date, for $20-30 bucks and it not being annual. I'll keep dreaming and be happy with what I have, because it's a good product. Re: the midnight wheat, not sure. Its new, and because I'm not sure how often some of the ingredient add-ons/databases are updated, I might consider it 'a wild thing'. Exactly what I do. For example, I made my first recipe from scratch, made it in BS, and had it all calculated, played with it to get the IBU's I think I wanted to semi balance it all out, and then had to input the AA's for the Falconers Flight 7C's I wanted to use. Didn't get pissed. It's saved in there now, and not to mention, AA units can change from year's crop to another, so thats not always set in stone if you want to be accurate. I'll be continually tweaking BS to my system, and it's fun actually. The rest of the details, like me missing my mash temp and doing it 2 degree's higher, the fact that I changed something on the fly, all go into my brew notebook, with the print out of the BS recipe I did. Has the date, the OG I got, and all the numbers I hit that day with times and whatnot.
